On Busy Gaming Month

So, this is not me complaining that there are to many games coming out in the next month or so. In fact I’m going to be happy to have so many things to choose from. I’m just glad I’m at a point in my life & career that I have a little bit of extra money to be able to get to enjoy my hobby in the way that I do. So short rundown on what’s coming up that I’ve got pre-ordered. I think there are PC versions for all of these but I’m mostly a console person at this point so all of these will be getting played on my PS4. Street Fighter 5 Street Fighter 5, which comes out next week, is a game I was really on the fence about. On A Post Pax Post – Part 2

So I had an interesting time at Pax South. This was not only my first Pax, but my first gaming focused convention. I ended up taking a full week off of work even though the convention was only for 3 days. Took a day to visit my friends family in Houston and stayed the night with them. Drove out of Houston the day before Pax started to head to San Antonio. I will state, that without a doubt I hate the roads in Texas so very, very much. I did eventually get to my hotel, and made the mistake of taking a “city view” room. Which meant that I had a room facing the interstate, which meant it was constantly noisy. On A Post Pax Post – Part 1

…Post So, I didn’t realize it had been so long since I had posted anything. I guess I just hadn’t had time or felt like posting anything. Today is my first day back at work since going to Pax and thought before I got started I would share a few things I learned from my experience. First off, I should have listened to my friend Bel and taken all the advice in his post Pax South: Lessons Learned. Because I wasn’t prepared, or at least not totally prepared. My main take-away from the experience is to not skimp on a hotel. The one I ended up staying at, while not horrible, was not a good experience.
